 Happiest day of my life
We were lying on his bed, listening to the noise outside his room.  His dad had just came back from the Philippines, so there was a lot of excitement in the house.  He didn't care.  He didn't miss his dad much, and would rather spend some alone time with me instead of asking his dad about his trip.

On the bed, we were just lying on our sides, facing each other. We were talking about everything and anything, then it got quiet.  Then he said, "I wanted to wait, but I can't anymore.  (Long Pause)  Will you be my girl?"

I was expecting him to ask me to be his girlfriend officially, but not so soon.  We had only been dating less than a month.  Of course I said yes!  I was too excited for words.  I couldn't believe it.  He asked me to be his girlfriend...

That was the best day of my life.

That was 5 years ago.  5 years later, I'm lying alone in my bed with only this memory still fresh in my head like it happened only yesterday.  How I wish it was only yesterday.

Break-Ups Can be so devastating. So cliche but Time will be your best friend. I hope to you the best and if you need anything talking to strangers is said to be good therapy.
