| What I am Reading.... |
I am a huge fan of John Grisham and recently finished The Appeal. It is a newer novel, I think he wrote in 2007. Of course you can get the gist of the story just by the title. I didn't care for the ending but still enjoyed the book.
I just moved to AZ. and I am not ready to give up my Oregon residency or my driver's license. But I was able to procure a library card here. You have no idea how excited I was. I love libraries! All those books without paying for them!! I checked out another John Grisham novel he wrote in 2007....Playing for Pizza.
I am not a football fan but I love Italy and this story is about a 3rd string NFL quarterback who goes to Parma, Italy to play football (not soccer) for the Parma Panthers. In one chapter Grisham describes a tatorria that serves all the best food in Italy. I was so hungry after that and longing for Italian food especially. I think Grisham has shown great versatility in his writing and that's why I like him.
