 Phoenix AZ (pics)
I am not sure how to explain in a way that attracts interest that I am loving living in Phoenix, AZ. Everyone keeps telling me to enjoy it now because it's going to be unbearable soon. They have been saying that since December. Here it is June and we have had triple digit weather for over a month and I keep waiting for the Hell on earth effect everyone keeps warning me about. There really is some truth to the "It's a dry heat" theory. I am loving the 100+ temps as long as I don't have to be out in the direct sun. I have decided that I will never be able to live ANYWHERE cold again!

My garden is awesome beyond belief...

Me encanta Phoenix, AZ.

Este es Squaw Peak trail and that's part of Phoenix behind us ~ my grandson, and Alan, mi esposo.

I'm a retired trucker, and Phoenix was always a favorite destination for me. The people and the environs are great. But after one day unloading a trailer in Aug.and in 115 temp. convinced me that S.Dak. or Minn. were better choices at that time of year.Haha.
Most all of America has it's good points and bad;there is no ideal one,for all. But certainly Phoenix has to rate as one of the best. Enjoy.
Great garden, but you may need a chain saw soon to prune.LOL

Glad you are so happy there. I can't really imagine temperatures like that but then again you would find Ireland quite difficult. It's all about what makes us happy, where we are content and where we feel at home. It's good to see you happy and content.

Snugglebum~ Thanks, we just got a new camera and I am still learning how to use it.

cabinfever~ It was so fun to read your comment because you sound like my dad. He is a retired trucker too and he unloaded something here and then while waiting for another load he was holed up in a cheap motel with terrible AC. That's his memory and he talks about it all the time to me. lol The garden has already produced tomatos, zuchini and I have a few peppers watermelons and scalloped squash.

overthehill~ I have lived in Oregon most of my life and I think the clime is very similar to Ireland. Oregon was not difficult for me I loved it. It was a work situation (or lack of) that caused this move. I feel it is God's blessing in my heart that I love Phoenix so much. It was a hard move in the beginning...so many unknowns.
