Epica kind of seems to be a spin off of the concept of "epic", and it sort of is. Though, the group name derived from Epica's lead singer's boyfriend's band, Kamelot, who had an album titled Epica. Kamelot has some great music, and I'll post a song from that band in the coming week.
This song is from their new cd, The Divine Conspiracy that came out this year. I really enjoy most of their old music, though this song definitely fits to their old stuff, and it's a really amazing song. As many bands, their music has evolved overtime, and they really changed their take on music on this latest album. I commend such abilities to truly create something different and interesting.
I've played more songs from this band than any other, and their music is very "epic", so hopefully it wont be too long before i post another song from this group!
