| Delerium - Silence |
It's hard for me to use Enigma's Gravity of Love without including Delerium's Silence right after. These songs are inseparable, as I play one I have to play the other. I'm not exactly sure what it is that has made these two songs so similar that I can't play one without the other, but that's what makes music so interesting and unique. Part of the reason I imagine would be from the time that i got these two songs, as i remember almost a decade ago(yes that long!) that these two songs both ended up in my music library. How i got them or where they came from eludes me, as I do not remember.
There are very few lyrical songs that can send me into thought without being pulled back to reality by the singer. This is probably why i enjoy listening to instrumental pieces more than anything else. I think that's one of the reasons why i love this song so much, how i could put it into a mix with other instrumentals and not skip a beat. But alas, usually it gets into a different mix together with Gravity of Love. That's how these two songs are inevitably tied. I don't think there's any other pair of songs in my music library that is linked in a such a way as these two. Maybe after listening to these songs you might be able to figure out why they fit together...or how they shouldn't be? That is up to you!
On a side note: I was really surprised to find out that my girlfriend and her roommate knew this song as it was a track played in their bodyflow class. I guess this song has had some exposure which is nice! :)
