Psyche! It's Monday night, but it's technically Tuesday morning, so i'm posting this next song a little early. Maybe it's always good to wake up early and listen to a new song rather than one before you go to sleep?
As a friend told me, this song is both peaceful and intense. I have to agree. It starts out really slow and picks up closer to the end. If you listen to the lyrics, the song is actually pretty sad and melancholy, but it also brings a message that speaks about what Christmas is missing. It might seem far-fetched...but we all tend to pull something different from each song that we listen to.
To some of you, the name Tarja Turunen might sound familiar, she used to be the lead singer of Nightwish before breaking off to go down a separate path. I'm glad that she didn't stop all together. Her voice is amazing, as she is a trained opera singer, and you can tell by how well she can hold the notes and it really adds to the music.
This is an crazy week, last one before finals and its getting busier with deadlines coming due. My sleep schedule is whacked, but it'll get back to normal after this is all over. Music is the only thing keeping me sane and I hope that I'm being some help to you as well!
