2 dogs, 2 kittens and a new ute - things are great

My perspective on life has changed so much since I began taking antidepressants about three weeks ago. My body really must have been out of balance chemically. I am so glad to be alive and am enjoying everything again - sure I still get frazzled and grumpy sometimes but its the exception now not the rule. I have 2 kittens as well as two puppies now. I got the first pup a couple of weeks ago when she was 6 weeks - her name is Lily, she is black, her mum is a whippet but we're not sure about her dad- probably a staffie. A week later I rang the guy I got her from to see if he still had any other pups - he still had both her brothers - so I chose one and bought him home. His name is Smokey and he is a blue heeler. I know this sounds weird but apparently a female dog can be fertilised by 2 different male dogs and have all the pups at once!! Cool hey! Anyway my smells a lot like an animal shelter and I spend a lot of time cleaning up poop but having all the animals around is great fun and I can't wait until the pups are old enough to take walking - they still need to have their parvo virus shots and that doesn't happen until they are 12 weeks old. I also have a new ute! I had complained to my husband that I didn't have a car in my name- all 3 were in his name. he asked what kind of car I wanted and I said a ute because they are useful for carrying things (like shopping and dogs) and I had one before and they are fun to drive, particularly long distances, which we do a lot of here. Its a 1970 Ford XW with a 351 motor and mags. It's hot! and all the boys are jealous. I haven't been fast in it yet, just up to the school and down to he shops but it sounds great and I love driving it. I plan to train my dogs to ride in the back and act as guards for it. Blue heelers can be great guards as the become very possessive I'll post some pictures soon
