My dad passed away in September. I would give anything for one more conversation of any kind. Treasure every moment you have with your dad...bad or good. They're precious and few when you put it all in perspective.

I can tell you're trying to find the humor in this situation, but I can read the tears between the lines. Like you, I don't expect thousands of dollars worth of diamonds and pearls. Just a "from the heart", thoughtful gift.
