Dear Mom,
What a weird summer day this is....! I miss you and I sure wish that you could be here with my girls and I! I so want to call you and tell you all we've done so far and how much the girls are growing up to be such wonderful young ladies!!! As we spend today inside the air-conditioned house, them playing and me cleaning....it brought back so many memories of us when I was their age, during summer! So many times, it would be me playing and you cleaning! We read alot of books, watched old movies and played double solitare together....that's just to name a few!
I just downloaded my camera and saw the photos of our old house in Anaheim! What a shock it was to see it this bright yellow and white trim and the yard just a mess! When we lived there, you kept that place up so beautifully and I have such fun memories of that place. It's almost sad to see it like that, but I figure..it's just a house and I have my memories of when it was beautiful!! You made that place a loving home Mom and I so thank you for that!
Mom? you gave me so much and the most was love! You loved me no matter what. This is my desire...is to be the best Mom I can be for my girls and remembering all the ways you were a Mom to me, is such a huge help!! I know it wasn't easy being a Mom and remembering that is what keeps me going and to not be so hard on myself, if I make mistakes and feel like a failure! I'm not a failure....I'm human and normal! You, even though you're not here physically, you are reminding me that I'm just human and I'll always make mistakes, but to go on and just love those girls!!! No matter what!!!
I love you Mom...my best friend who I miss so much! Even though it's been almost a year and a half, I still miss you and my heart hurts...alot! There's so much life to live and I just wish you could still be here with us to live it!!! You are the BEST Mom there ever was!! Love always, your daughter...
