Oh, man. Oh, man. Ohhhhhman.

So ya, today was busy. But, just wait 'til i tell you.

Got up and went for a run. It was tougher than yesterday...maybe i should (at least for a little while) give myself a day of rest in between. Showered, had a breakfast with a sophomore who hates being at Smith b/c her heart and her major are back in Scotland where she studied over the summer.

10:05. left my dorm for sage hall. arrived and made my way downstairs to room #2. was suprised to see that the man that i thought was jonathan hirsh was actually ryan brandau and was waiting to hear me sing. he is very vivacious. was lovely and asked me to "vocalize" with him. i was nervous as all hell and had started to sweat before entering the building. he started me on a downward scale, looking up at me with comments like "wow, lovely, "perfect" etc. High scale. His eyes got wide. "Beautiful, "so pleasant to listen to." Sight reading. "Your instincts are perfect." Wrap up. "you have a huge range." "Where would you like to sing?" "I have a 16-member choir; would you be interested?"

I almost had an orgasm.

It was beyond belief that this man, this scholar of music, loved my voice and my musical ability. he also seemed to enjoy my shirt. he was all smiles. so was i. hard to convey the magic to the keyboard. it was just.....a sheer pleasure.

I have to go to a lecture now. Class registration is the next topic of interest.
