As a child many of us dream of what we will become, what our future will hold for us. Now as adults most of us look back at the dreams from out childhood and compare with today's reality. For some we achieved those dreams from childhood, for others they achieved way past their dreams, and then there are some that were unable to make their dreams from childhood come true.

As for myself I went way passed my dreams. I dreamed of being a mom and housewife. I ended up a single mom holding down a full time job while going to college and I became a lawyer. I am a high school drop out and for most drop outs do not make it as far as I did.

What is funny is that now my boys are grown, and I am married to an awesome man, and I am NOw a stay at home mom and house wife. It is funny how life turns out.

I spent my childhood watching nice family shows where the sun always shines, and that was my dream having a beautiful family & kids. Like u I ended up a single mom and I was never lucky in love Put my dreams on hold. Nowadays I hitch my stars with a marvelous man who made most of my dreams come true. when i was young i dreamed of being a farmer but it never worked out that way.
good post though and the bridges of madison county is a great movie by the way.
