 were does the romance go

Why after you have been with your partner a while does the excitment, the romance, the suprise an the appreciation for one another go?
Sometimes you know its gone and sometimes you dont realise till you read a book, watch a film, see a couple that use to be you and your partner not so long ago and you then realise and want that back so badly, the truth is how do you get that back? As you get to know eachother the other things seem to fade away, you no longer appreciate eachother like you did, you no longer get excited when your about to see them, you take eachother for granted, the love is still there but the puppy love as some might say seems so long ago, sometimes it hurts that its no longer there, sometimes it makes you think i want that back again, some people walk away once the excitement has gone to find some one else to excite them. Do you ever get the excitement back with the partner you have been with so long and love so much? Why does it take a fall out to bring you closer to the person you love? why doesnt the love after that argument stay there very long? Does anyone have the answers to these questions? Does anyone truly know how to get them feelings back? Love opens doors to so many questions, most of them can never be answered.
