Persevere and Wait
Oh when we search for guidance and He responds persevere and wait
Discouraged, exhausted doubtful yet don't forget about grace.
Isolated but not abandoned He says persevere and wait
He is God and there is no other. Eternity is every beings fate.
We know that the depressed are sad yet still He responds persevere and wait
He knows us better than we know ourselves and when our spirit is going to break
God knows all the sorrows and the pain of being alone
Yet He say persevere and wait until it is time for you to come home.
He knows the nature of the human beast and when we try to take his place
But when we don't persevere and wait all else goes to waste.
In an instant thinking world persevere and wait is hard to do
The enemy still lies that when we fall God no longer loves you.
