A Psalm of the Desperate
The Lord is our shepherd we may still need and want
But the price of salvation was long ago bought
He guides us on the journey whether troubled or calm
The desperate need a touch by the nail scared palm.
When the prayers are answered the spirit will be restored
The salvation message is one the evangelical can no longer ignore.
Reformed means past behavior we don't seek to repeat
An act of service displayed is the washing of feet
Why aren't more of the chosen out in the field gathering souls?
Because there are wolves in sheep's clothing with disheartening goals.
The truth is still truth no matter now old it gets
Successful beings are the ones that never call it quits.
