| Life In Marrakech Through A Childs Eyes |
|
Hi, I am 12 years old and have been living in Morocco, Marrakech for 3 years now. I am writing this blog so that children all around the world can know what it is like to live here.
WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
We moved out here three years ago, mum, dad, and my two brothers. We started at the American school soon after and made friends fast. We are still in the process of learning both French and Arabic which is a very hard job, trust me!!
Mum and Dad bought peacocks a couple of days ago. We decided to call them Frank and Stein which was decided by my little brother. A builder plucked some of their flying feathers so that they couldnt fly away which was very interesting to watch!

We feed them bread mixed with water and they get tied to the bench during the night so that they get used to the environment. Apparently Frank and Stein will be making a lot of noise during mating season which will be sometime later this year.
Talking of pets. A couple of days ago there was a tiny puppy who was either left, lost or orphaned and came for shelter in the guarians house. I have no photos of him at the moment but he is incredibly small. We feed him baby formula and squashed up cat food. I hope he survives but there is every possibility that he may not, according to mum and dad.
Here is a beautiful sunset that occured a couple of months ago. This was taken from our house. It is possible that such a sunset could be in London if there was no pollution. Look how lovely the colors combine. It is gorgeous.
may I just add that I have another blog which is called inspirationmarrakech on thoughts.com. I only used this as an introduction so if you want to read more entries then go onto inspirationmarakech and find out.
