 Where Did He Go
"You're not doing it right..." Mom sighed.

I agreed to go bowling tonight with my brother and mom.  I completely forgot what a stupid move that would be on my part.  I don't know if this is the case with other families, but when you do certain activities, it's best not to let them be a part of it.

So the whole night, I heard a shitload of criticisms and ways to fix my "form".  I'd sometimes actually listen and try out what they'd tell me to do, and it wouldn't exactly work.  So then I'd decide to do it how I feel comfortable, and get a strike.. WHAT NOW.

So I came home, washed up, and eventually got on the phone with John.

Among other topics, I told him what happened at bowling.

His response?

"Maybe they're right..."

Me: "You kidding me?"

"Well... they're just trying to help you."

"But John.. they'd get mad if I'd mess up... saying I'm not listening to them."

"Maybe you should listen to them."

"I did. It didn't work."

"It is, after all, all about form."

I about flipped.
I don't understand why boyfriends can't just be good boyfriends, and say, "I'm sorry, baby.. I'll make you feel better..."  Is it so hard?

This whole issue is small, petty, and retarded, I know.  It's not even worth talking about.  But come on!! Where'd that sweet "I'm always on your side" boyfriend go?
