Born into a generation of media craving adolesence and electro-technical wonders I am fully aware of effective radio programming when I hear it. Not because I listen or even register it right away, because it absorbs carefully with thought and intrigue, and then comes back to me to present its case.  It was a conversation about how women use other women's judgement as part of their screening process. So if a woman was to see me walking down the street with a man and it looks like we're having a good time, theres something in her mind that says "Ok, this guy can make her happy...it could probably work for me to." or "Alright well he seems half normal, maybe ill give it a whirl." haha. But even if the conscious thought process doesnt make it that far, theres something that clicks. Even if the relationship is completely not sexual, like brother and sister for example, its still a sort of barrier being broken down. I would like to beleive its because we trust the judgement of the women around us, but somehow i think that would be my optimism getting the best of me again. Perhaps it's our lack of judgement that makes us turn to others for their unknown approval. Or, more likely, is that we dont even realize we're capable of such things until some asshole like me comes along and says something to make us ponder.
At first, i was opposed to this idea and even insulted that these people would suggest such a thing. But after careful consideration, i've come to the conclusion that there may just be some truth to that. So the next question is....do guys do it too?
