Doroteo Calles Hernandez who is in the country illegally, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to kill, hit-and-run and driving while impaired.
A man (David Barber) and his girlfriend were walking their dog and told Hernandez to slow down as he sped by them at a high rate of speed. Hernandez then circled back towards the couple in an attempt to run them over. Luckily he did not kill them, but David suffered broken bones in his legs. |
