The shy and nervous can often bring out the best in me:) I know the needles and pressures of panic. I know the feeling of sweaty armpits and shakey cold hands. You can either dip your toes in the cold water til you emerse yourself in "I don't know what I am doing; I'm just doing it like everyone else"...dive right in...OR try being creative and less personal first. Once you stimulate interest without the every day "I had a crappy/great day with my family woes" posts(unless you can make such stories witty), you may feel more relaxed and share more of your feelings. It also helps to use the private and "Everyone" settings to allow yourself space to be a lil more secure with yourself before you share something you'd rather not when coming to your senses. Even though many here will just tell you to spill spill spill to feed their need to read:P

I usually don't give out to much about my life, becuase it is mine to worry about...True that no one knows who you are, unless you tell them so just blog away about whatever...Like brainstormer said, start out slow and get a feel for people then go from there.
Good luck here...Enjoy...
