well the second term is FINALLY over and here I am in the third term of my fourth yera of college. I'm on my intership now and graduating in May. I landed a great internship working in the nutrition/food service department in a hospital in Tucson Arizona! I cannot believe it.
I got ot move out of the apartment w/ my roommates because I never signed the lease, I was just paying them month to month. It's an awesome opportunity I got and cannot believe it.

So I had spring break the week before I moved down here to Tucson, the last week in February. Lucas came out to Denver and visited with me.That was fun we did a lot of sight seeing and drinking. We went to the zoo, aquarium, coors brewry, and a comedy club. We had a lot of fun. BUT. I hate it how everything seems so perfect when you're with somebody and when they leave you know it's not. For example. I call him all the time, he never calls me. I know I started this new job and he's not really sure of my schedule so I called him on Friday and told him what my schedule was like. He knows I'm off work on Saturday and Sunday and hasn't called. I don't like going days on end without speaking. It's bad enough we're over a thousand miles apart and then on top of that we don't talk but maybe every three days? It's horrible and I hate it. I dont like how if I want to talk I've always got to call him. Doesn't he want to talk? Ahh I'm so confused.

On another note Tucson is really nice. The weather here is so much better than in Denver! I hate cold weather. The company I'm doing my internship with has put me up in an Extended Stay Hotel and pays for me to stay here until May 4 they also are paying me to work for them. It's an awesome experience. I get to work side by side with about 7 different managers/directors. They are very kind and I'm learning so much, especially because I'm the only intern in their nutrition department. My supervisor said she would like me to work for their company when I graduate! The company is so huge, it's got great benefits, and it's a global company. I could not have asked for a better internship opportunity! Plus on to of everything else they have a Dietetic Internship to become a Registered Dietician here in Tucson and it's with the SAME company I'm working for now. It's 5K, ten months, and part time. That way I can work another job while I'm doing the internship because the Dietetic Internship is unpaid. I'm so happy. Plus if I'm already in with the company that might give me a better chance to get accepted because they only accept 6-8 interns.

Right now I'm working at the hospital Monday-Friday so I'm going to an Outback here and am going to try and wait tables on the weekends to make extra money. My previous boss from the Outback in Denver said to give the manager his cell phone number and he would try and get me a job. I'm glad because I would like to get an apartment here.

I went out apartment searching when I first got here. I found a really nice one for only $469 a month, I figured a nice area and a secure apartment complex would be more, I was suprised. I have nevr lived on my own before, I've always had roommates. I am very excited to start my career and start an "adult life". I'm so happy everything is falling into place.
