my visit to Missouri wasn't as bad as I thought. We had a lot of family time and I saw relatives I hadn't seen in ages. I hate it that everywhere in Missouri the restaurants still have smoking sections..gross.

So late night on the 28th Lucas suprised me! He got my sister's number (which I kind of thought something was up but brushed it off) and he showed up at 1:30am when were were partying. It was so great seeing him. I loved being close to him again. We spent Saturaday, Sunday, and Monday together and he drove me to the airport in St Louis on Tuesday morning. I hate goodbyes. I started tearing up just as soon as I had to walk through the security line. But New Years was special, our second year in a row spending it together. I was so happy we got to kiss at midnight. I don't know why but everything feels so right when we're holding each other.

But I am very thankful he came. I had no idea he had it in him. I don't know why but I think the 30 day thing really helped our relationship a lot. I think something happend to him while he was sitting alone thinking..at least I'd like to think that's what happend

He's telling me he is going to come out to Denver for my spring break and stay a week with him. I told him he better not be getting my hopes up. I'm so excited, we'll have the whole apartment to ourselves. I told him I'd pay for half his plane ticket so we'll see. It's in the end of February..
