Let me introduce myself...I'm new to the blogging world...so bare with me if I make stupid rookie mistakes....but I love to write so I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before I'm writting everyday.
I live in a small town...two hours outside of the city of Chicago...I still live at home with my parents..even though I'm 24 just can't afford to go out on my own. I work as a department manager for a department store near my hometown. And I absolutely love my job.
But, what I love most in life is Jesus. I know He has the whole future planned for me...and He has the best plan and I love Him more then I can ever discribe to you.
I used to work with a youth group at a local church...but stopped that when my co-leader and I had a near relationship that left me in a heap of pain...and given up on guys. Well...that was until I met my boss...and needless to say having a crush on your boss is not nearly as exciting as they make it seem in the movies. But, what can I say this is just my life...and I guess this is how I'm living it.
The only thing I am absolutely sure of is that Jesus never fails...and that as long as I keep following Him then everything will work out for good (Romans 8:28)
Anyway it's been a crazy last few days. And life has kind of left me hurting...but today was full of many unexpected joys. Like today I was just working and three of the kids that used to be in the youth group that I worked with randomly showed up at the store. I mean I haven't seen them in months (since I stopped working with the youth group.) And just seeing them again reminded me of how much I love those kids. And after a long few days all I really needed was a few good hugs. That is one more thing I absolutely love about my job is that I like can have guest come in...and as long as you don't talk for hours on end it's easier to see people then if I worked in an office or something.
This whole day just reminded me again that God is in complete control and he will always add little blessings to everday all we need to do is look for those blessings...unfortunatley all too often we are so concerned with the bad that we don't look and see the good...and it's always there my friends. I can't tell you how exciting it is to just really trust God.
