Yesterday was a bad day. I was bummed and feeling sorry for myself. I went home from work and put my pajamas on and lay in bed the rest of the afternoon.
This morning I checked my Etsy account and I had sold two of my cards! I was so excited! The buyer said that he saw them showcased on a treasury that my group leader posted and really liked them! Ever since I joined that group I have had a lot of hits on my items. I will have to send a public message to the group thanking the leader for selecting my card to be part of the treasury! Having this sell really perked me up and I'm itching to create more! This afternoon I'll be swinging buy the post office to send off the cards and then I'm going over to my sister's house to help her make some cards for a swap she is participating in on Saturday. I have also been asked to create some gift tags with custom printing on them for a co-worker. Her mother passed away recently and she has saved and dried the petals to the flowers arrangements. She is going to be placing petals into clear boxes and give them to family members. The tags will have her mother's name and some other info on them. I would do them for free because she is a friend but she refuses and wants to pay me. I do need the money though. Even though I didn't solicit her for the sell (she came to me) I still feel guilty. I would like to offer her some kind of discount.
