S..., Jimbo has tried his damndest to impress everyone within earshot with his presumably "embellished" beefcake tales..
Stroll into any hick bar, VFW, or men's lodge in the continental United States, and you'll find hordes of "fantasy studs" just like old Jimbo.................usually effete, worn-out, knuckle-dragger types, clumsily trudging past that mid-life threshold. Just imagine the pathos of your average "fantasy stud's" internal conflict: some forty-eight year old longshoreman or assembly-line supervisor, still locked in a melodramatic, Oedipal psycho-stuggle with the ghost of his dead father!!
"Pop - now you know I'm not some fancy, quilt-loving cocksucker. Why, I'd NEVER lick another man's asshole! Nope, not his scrotum either! Scout's Honor!"
Ha, ha, ha!! Add a pinch of dormant, repressed homosexual tendencies to the mix and you've got a more poignant tragicomedy. Hell, Jimbo kind of resembles a clay-mation Gore Vidal................a glory-hole golem with a Joe-Buck mentality.
What these poor souls have failed to grasp, in their years of struggle in the spiritual junkyard of sterile, sexually-titillating male-fantasy is best outlined in the New Testament:
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.
All of those deadened, grizzly-bastards.............I can just see them now - lingering on old football glories like so many mediocre, dissatisfied Al-Bundy's.............. casting aside the life of the spirit for a suspended state.........a limbo, in which the past and wish-fulfillment usurp the place of the Kingdom of Heaven.
People just don't understand that admitting defeat, and shedding dead skin is ALWAYS the first step in finding the Kingdom.
