| Holiday Camp begins |
So Holiday camp is three weeks in now. January has flown by like mondo fast!!
Anyways, so far things are alright. I have been having a good time with the kids of course and the activities I'm leading are alright. Now that I'm at camp adair, I'll be working on more high ropes and initiatives instead of teaching different things to campers. This is alright by me i guess, cuz i'm going to get buff!!
Camp Adair is a bit better than Waiwera. I'm treated better here by the staff for the most part and the area that camp is located at is more CAMPY?! out in the woody area and in the middle of no where. I have to drive 15 min. down a winding hilly road to get to town. The curves on this hill are really scary sometimes..the speed is 100 (NOT MPH), but kmp i suppose? Dunno. Anywho, some people here drive the entire way really fast and its oober scary. Ah well, my cruddy car is holding up for now thankfully. It's not the best car, but not the worst either I suppose.
I don't have many camp stories right now, i mean there are great kids and there are terrible ones....what's new.
I bought my first bikini and togs!! WAHOO! that is cool for me.
other than that, havent done much traveling yet since work has started up. once i get some time off on weekends and such, i have some places that i can stop off at to visit.
sorry not much to update as of now
since i have internet here at camp now i'll try to update once a week or so if anything is worth writing. check facebook and stuff i you have it as well. i upload my pictures there.
i'll upload a few here too...
