Jacksonville has been pretty good to me. Although I don't live there, I travel there a bit and it's always been the same. It was predictably unpredicatable. I find something new everytime I venture out that way. Hopefully this will be a growing trend. I moved back to Florida in December and I've been painting it up since. I don't paint to become a painter or to be known I just did it because I have to. My brain was on overdrive and if I didn't get it out of my system I would go crazy. All these thoughts, visions, and fantasies have danced on my cerebrum for ages and it was a good time to let them out. Not to mention my life has been chaotic the past 4 years. I've let people make me feel like I was never good enough for anything so why think differently? But, thankfully, I have rose from the ashes of all my past mistakes and I've opened myself up to possibilites. If everyone ends up hating my art then I don't care. I do it because I have to, and if someone else gets a kick out of it then that's cool too.
