 Fate
Walking arm in arm I turned to fate and asked her why she had taken him away from me. She looked at me confused and kissed my cheek. She said in a quiet whisper in my ear, I had to make room for more. A slight smile, not quite parting her lips, and appearing also in her eyes as a tiny bit of phosphorescent white light, a small dot of it near her turquoise iris, took over the small narrow features of her delicate face. Her blonde hair followed behind us floating on the air, because it was too light and appearing to be alive danced on invisible particles that made up the ether of the strange world around us.
Her lips on my cheek delivered me from the blandness of human emotions. I felt my body evaporating around me, exorcising me from the illusion of Maya, and delivering me to relatively higher energies.  Walking now with fate in an altogether different dimension, light filled my consciousness and my consciousness became my body, a body of light glowing with joy and love.
We floated to a fountain, not above any floor or below any ceiling, “eternity she said, is without walls”, but through a mist of static electricity whose tintinnabulation, vibrating like butterfly wings soft and utterly vulnerable existing to be a slight pleasure in the world that only maybe a child’s innocent finger could ever so delicately touch without leaving one a flightless moth, fluttered through us.
Her voice appeared in my thoughts forming words out of the context, of what I would in error but for lack of any other words, label as my imagination and related to me this idea: “Decide what you are capable of based on what you desire to achieve and accomplish, rather than what you perceive right now, as limited abilities, an entirely false notion, dictating what possibilities are in front of you.” She lifted one luminescent finger toward the fountain. “Your talent and abilities is an infinite fountain with limitless potentials waiting to be tapped. Drink from the fountain and create worlds around you.”
