i came across a new term today "thread". now i say to myself "self, do you know what this pertains to". "hell no i don't" says i to myself, "lets go to thoughts.com and see if anyone can help". here we are. i sent an email to my teacher here onĀ thoughts but in case he doesn't get it (i think i may have screwed it up) i am throwing my "threads" to the wind. if this involves a sewing class, and a sewing machine then i may be in trouble because the last thing i sewed was "the project from hell". so here i am bobbin (get it "bobbin"?) around looking for an answer. who comes up with these terms?? do you think "cookies" came from the baking computer nerd, and "thread" came from the tailor computer nerd? the word "links",maybe the sausage maker? and the shorthand that is the computer language? maybe the secretary with not enough to do. but with all the words i find that are confusing there are still the old timers that are made in stone and mean the same everywhere and they are the cursing words. that stays the same no matter what/ i have learned a few things though like lol, :), omg, bff, :(, and fubar (fu--ed up beyond all recognition) (my personal favorite). i use that last one a lot to describe things like: "you are nothing but fubar", or "that looks likeĀ fubar", "do you want to end up fubar?". hell, i don't have to be on the computer at all to put that one into context. don't we all know something or someone that is fubar???? oh well, thats my blog for the time being. maybe more later. don't get fubared anyone!!
