| THE SUN ON MY BACK AND THE BEE GEES IN MY EAR
|

every one that knows me knows i love music. i mean i "love" music. i sleep with it and eat with it and work with it and blog with it. i literally always have it on. last week i was listening to the radio and the bee gees came on. i love them and i know they're an older group but i never get tired of them. today someone that knew i liked them came into work with their double cd of greatest hits. YOW! was i a happy camper! kiss kiss hug hug to them. i could barely wait til i could get off at 2 so i could listen to them.
finally at 1:55 i clocked out and it was on to the bee gees and my long ride home. i popped it in and cranked it up and just loved it. when i finally got to the main drag and hit the highway for home i was totally in my own zone. i cranked it louder and just felt so free. FREEDOM! nothing like it in the entire world.
i would love to take a long, long road trip somewhere, anywhere. i would love to just drive and drive and drive and listen to my music and feel the freedom i have. i underestimated the feeling of it for sure. it feels like i am in a whole new world. a world of no one telling me what to do and how to do it. a world of doing as i please and talking to whom i please and saying what i please. WOW, what have i been missing out on all these years?
i have been abnormally happy lately and giddy as a teenager. is it my new found freedom bringing out these feelings? is it that i'm finally able to do things i haven't been able to do in so long? i look in the mirror and like who is looking back these days. i like the way she looks and feels. i like the way her blue eyes seem to almost sparkle when they used to be filled with tears and sadness. i like the smile she has rather than the tight lipped tense feeling she used to have constantly. yeah, i like her a lot. shes been through hell with me and is back in the game now too. no more anyone breaking us down kiddo, huh?
so today on my way home i just opened my windows wide and cranked up the music and drove like i hadn't a care in the world. and u know what? for that time i actually didn't ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
love u

Ohhh I so no that feeling. I am like that to. Music on at all times. It is the first thing I hear in the morning and the last thing at night. I love it when I am home alone I can put whatever I like on and as high as I like. I have a wide collection in taste of music, so alot depends on the mood I am in.
If I was to ever get with the times and buy an Ipod, I think I would need more than one with all the music I would want to fill it with.
Music les me be free from all the worries in the world.
I was rencently told by a friend that their partner never lstens to music and I felt so sad for that person as they are missing out on so much.
Music Rocks no matter what your taste may be.
And on a side note. Glad to hear that you are coming to peace with in your self. It seems the sunshine is finally casting its rays over you.

Other than the Bee Gees part, I know the feeling.
OK, I'll fess up. Sometimes I break out the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and get my kicks. Otherwise, though, if the windows are open and I'm on the road, I'm blasting Oasis.
That's a great feeling, though, regardless of what music is playing.

oh! I always live with music too! wherever I go I am with headphones in my ears =) and sometimes it happens that people tell me something but I don't hear... and it results in unexpected situations =))))

I mean, for example, when you walk with somebody. he (she) tells you something. your ears are closed with headphones. and finally he asks "what do you think?". but you haven't heard anything he said. =) in this situation I can say something stupid just to show that I listened... but words I say not always coincide with the topic of my friend's monolog... they always laugh at me because of this
