Tonite I am confessing......Bless me bloggers for I have sinned....it's been so damn long since I have confessed to anything so bare with me. When I began as SK I made an oath...yes an oath that I would not swoop and read someone's post without at least saying hello. As I am not usually at a loss for words this has been fairly easy for me to do. I have left some comments on ppl I'm not crazy about, left some on ppl that I think are nutcases (and I mean real nutcases), some that are sad, some that are happy. I have swooped on ppl that are both young and old. I have not broken my word until................two days ago.
I finally found a post that I literally could not think of one word to say. Not one! The post was short....I mean like 2 sentences short. It was the content of that post I just couldn't get past. I mean I am no prude, by any stretch of the imagination...I am an open minded woman with a lot of bite to her. I think and for the most part say what I think. There are a few issues I keep my mouth shut on only bc I don't like shit. I enjoy the erotica post a lot (thats an understatement sometimes), the fantasies and have read many love poems. Only until recently did I just stop reading some. I have always left comments especially since 'the oath'.
Alas....I am ashamed to say it but I have failed....she says as she hangs up her super cape.....I have met my kryptonite. I have failed my fellow bloggers.....with a tear on her cheek. What is to happen to all those posts that never recieve comments? What will happen to those bloggers who look forward to seeing me and my possee swoop in and take care of those with no opinion to share. Oh I worry about you all. I worry that life as you know it will cease.....she hangs her head in shame.
And now with all these Super Heroes here....the shame of it all....its too much to bare. I must go to the Super Heroes place where those that don't keep up with their super duties go to suffer. Is there no hope for me? Is there no redemption for me? Will I ever get my cape on again? And what will happen to my super friends.....SC and Long? Oh....the pain of it all.....she says as she slowly fades away....into oblivion.

Even Super Heros are faced with challenges! There wouldn't be so many Batman and Super Man movies if there were no obstacles! By the way, DYING to know which post left you "comment-less".

My dearest Super K, we all have our moments of weakness. For some, that's what drives us harder to succeed. There have been posts that caught me off balance as well. I can see why you would have left that one untouched, I may have too.. although lately I have lacked the filter between brain and keyboard. Anyways, we'll keep your cape clean until you are ready to put it back on hun. :)

That was a very nice oath you had. But I can understand why you couldn't say anything on that one. I wouldn't have known what to respond.
I've always made it a habit if I can't say something nice, I won't say anything.

K, there are just some posts that, sadly enough, say absolutely nothing. Nothing. I don't think you should hang up your cape because you couldn't think of a comment for a post that obviously left no room for comment. Keep the cape, and add to it a SuperSonic Captain Crunch Decoder Ring.......the Ring that gives you the power to discern between meaningful words and senseless babble.
