| SOUNDS LIKE ARMEGEDDAN...

The noise is screaming...sirens wailing...horns blaring. It sounded like Armegeddon was coming with the constant noise. The local siren went off. It stopped and a few minutes later it went off yet again.I paid more attention this time. I heard more trucks going out. There was obviously a big fire or accident somewhere.
The noise didn't stop as it went off again and I saw a Maryland unit come wailing past and just now another county from further up sent their trucks. This would make it a 4 alarm fire code. Somewhere right now, a family is losing their home and belongings or worse. This just makes me so sad.
I don't own a monitor bc I had a dear friend die in a car accident and it would have killed me too to hear it coming across a monitor. How do ppl own those things? A lady at work has one and said she heard over it that her husband was in a bad accident and all that was wrong with him. I just couldn't do that. Call me a wienie but no way would I like to be sitting in my home and hear that my loved one was dying and bleeding to death somewhere along a roadside.
I pray that whoever right this minute is in trouble will be ok. I pray that their family will be safe. I pray that things will be good for them. I know they are strangers but it's an eerie feeling knowing that this is happening right now. I supose it'll be in tomorrow's paper. Anyways I just pray and thank God that I can see Riley and Jared playing safely outside....

Thanks bj. I cannot get these strangers out of my mind for some reason. I just keep watching the boys play and laugh and hope there are no children at this other place. K
