| SNOW STORMS AND 70 DEGREE WEATHER

today wasn't the greatest of days. my boss was her usual pricky self and i know tomorrow will be even worse. why do people have to behave like that? why don't we just accept each other for all our differences and likes and dislikes and just see that we each bring so much to the table. i wouldn't want to be in a world that people were all cloned the same and there were no bumps in life. bumps are what make it fun and interesting. of course sometimes a smooth trail would be nice but for all purposes i'll take the bumpy road. a lot of us have monotony in our lives as it is. we get up and shower and get ready for work or school and go and have the same crap every day and then proceed to go back home to do whatever and go to bed to get up the next day and redo the same thing again. how nice it is when there is a chink in our path and something different comes along. something that we didn't expect and that gave us pleasure. i welcome the distraction. today for instance it was 72 degrees here (in february!) . how different is that? an absolutely beautiful day outside. on the other hand there was a snowstorm in iowa that kept people inside. different? oh yeah! but my weather kept me wanting to go outside and just enjoy the change and the kids in iowa got a day off of school (i'm sure much appreciated). so as sure as i know the weather will change tomorrow and it will get colder and i know my boss will a bigger prick than ever i also know life goes on.
