OK, what the hell is wrong now??? all of a sudden i'm having trouble again with the old computer. emails are getting screwed up and not doing what they're suposed to do. my posts aren't looking the way i posted them and i had to go back and EDIT them. i click on something and two little boxes come up at the top of the site and tell me ERROR and then go into definition of said error. I KNOW THE DEFINITION OF AN ERROR. what i don't know is why this system is suddenly so messed up. if its my computer then fine, i'll take care of it but if its this site then please let me know as well.
Soon there will be soooo much here that i (the most illiterate computer person) won't know which end is up or even if its up. i need a book of directions here lately. i have to read for half hour just to see all the stuff next to someone's name. i mean it's nice i supose and i know the staff are trying to make it super cool but i don't understand most of it. i'll just try and figure it out some how or get my teacher back and make him crazy again......like hes looking forward to that.....smile

Don't think it's your computer. Take a deep breath and relax. Thoughts has made a few changes. You are probably doing emails through the forums that's why it looks different. If you want to send an email like you always did look under "Links" on your left hand side when on someone's profile page. The "send a private message to whomever" in the personal information box seems to be for the forums. I also got a couple errors while cruising around thoughts today, so you are not alone. Peace.

sorry, no advice here. am still fairly new and half the time I don't know what's on the fritz or even if there is a fritz! lol but my stuff seems to change rather regular lately so I think its them doing improvments or something.

spiritual, i know nothing with a capital N (that should have been Nothing) about computers. i get my computer advice from friends that take pity on me. i'm like u i just go along and keep on doing my thing and then find out that the site is zapped or that typhoid mary has been near my stuff....lol....like i said i know zip. thanks for riding by.

While most website owners choose to make a series of changes and then schedule downtime, I have found that Thoughts is infamous for simply sticking in the new updated files and seeing if people explode when it happens. Nobody has yet, from what I can tell, but it sounds like you got close. I'd hate to clean up the mess.
