tonite is a magical evening because i have tomorrow off and tonite i have the company of two wonderful gentlemen who are being thouroughly entertaining, my little grandsons. disappointed??? i hope not. they are delightful and full of energy and love me unconditionally. we have had the best time and this house needs some laughter and love. right now they think i'm a magical grandma because i did a trick. little do they know that it was a lame attempt at best but when you are 4 and 6 it looks good. my coworker came back after a brief time off and it was nice to see him and work together again. i am a chef for an assisted living residence and it was a very good day and continues to be great. i'm not used to that feeling and it's nice, very nice. i'm like the kid looking into the candy store window yearning for something i cannot have. i see others living a life that i long to have and know in my heart that i never will. it's heartbreaking to give up on that last bit of hope. but i digress, for tonite it's great and i have some wonderful company and some future memories made and my grandsons think i magical. what more could one ask for????? |
