| JEEP: 0 MY FACE: 2 TREE: WINNER

yesterday my blog was of the most serious kind. it was a special tribute to a little guy. today my blog is somewhat different. the winds here right now are at 70 mph and cold as shit. i have a 40 min. commute to work (not much of a commute in the grand scheme of things i know) and my jeep was being tossed all over the place. whoever told me jeeps were a safe vehicle obviously never drove this one in 70 mph wind. i was most definitely paying attention to my driving when a tree limb came flying at me. i thought it was a scene from the WIZARD OF OZ where all the stuff goes flying through the air during the tornado ( cows, old ladies, houses, TREES). i swerved to keep this limb from coming through my windshield and in the process ran off the road. my jeep was perfect. not a single scratch. nothing! me however didn't fair as well. i cracked my head and bumped my nose and the blood was running. i'm a bleeder so it actually looked a lot worse than it was but nonetheless i was not a happy camper. several people saw what happened including an ambulance that was being gassed up. i'm sure i looked a sad sight. i didn't want the police or to go to the hospital so i just cleaned up the best i could and after thanking everyone and cursing the limb (*#*#^#*##) went home aaada (against an ambulance driver's advice). i was very sleepy, so sleepy in fact that i fell asleep in front of the computer doing the dreaded filing of my taxes. i know it wasn't the brightest thing to do but i did go and take a nap and woke up with a headache (big surprise on that one!). i ate some of my special sweet and sour chicken and took a shower and am feeling a bit more human and ready to tackle the irs with my taxes (grrrr). i guess the Man upstairs isn't ready for this chick yet. but for today i will score my jeep: 0 dents, my face: 2 big bruises, and the tree: the winner.

Hey thank for the comment! :) I like the way you write aswell very fluent! and really cool that your a chef thats what I want to be when I grow up either that or an english teacher!
