well i just got home from my daughter's house. we all get together each year and watch movies or play cards and drink and eat. it was nice this evening. i got my butt kicked at cards and got a pretty good buzz on and then sobered up to come home at two minutes past midnite. i am hoping and praying that 2008 will be better in all areas than 2007. someone told me that we have to keep saying things like "i'm going to have a better year" and "things are going to get better". they said that it's like bad kharma to keep saying "i'm broke all the time" or "my life sucks". she said that if we don't begin saying good things that we'll never get any good luck. now i'm not sure just how much of all that i believe but it sure can't hurt. sooooooooooo..............my life is going to be wonderful. i'm going to win the lottery and leave my ass hole spouse and travel around and give my children and grandchildren a good leg up on life. i'm going to meet someone who is kind and generous and doesn't act like a horses behind. i'm going to a fat farm and get back to a size 10 and go to disney world. i'm going to make love on beaches and have an apartment that overlooks a skyline of a beautiful ocean or lake. i'm going to shop at neiman marcus and tiffany's. i'm going to drive a car that is so luxerious people will stop and stare. i'm going to live the fullest life that life itself offers. but i'm still going to blog. hey kharma, do you hear all that????? come and get me! |
