END OF ANOTHER BIRTHDAY....

WELL, it's another year down the drain. I'm yet another year older and another year wiser...*cough...gag...spit...cough*. I wish I were wiser but if the 'proof is in the pudding', then suffice it to say...I'm not!!!

     Today at work my co-workers called me out of the kitchen. They knew I was unhappy but didn't know why....since I keep all things to myself. I hadn't told anyone .....anyone....it was my birthday and so thought nothing when I was called to another unit for a 'meeting'. I walked in and everyone yelled 'SURPRISE' and i was indeed. How do ppl find this stuff out? Maybe Easytosay called and told them....I certainly wouldn't put it past her. Easy????? Know anything about this????

Anyways.....they had bought me this gorgeous cake...with these balloons and a card. I was so suprised. They lit my candles and I blew them out with one blow....someone made the remark...'Karen, I never knew you had so much hot air in you bc you don't talk much!'...Imagine...me??? not speaking much...LOL If they only knew.... I opened my card and in it was all their signatures with birthday wishes and a gift card to Barnes and Nobles for $75. I was so shocked. Of course.....I cried. I cry if someone farts. I was so touched that they went out and spent their own money to see that I had a nice day.

I come home and have this email from Kellie. She wishes me happy birthday and I send her a thank you back. Then as I scroll down theres another email from Kellie...."One more thing"...is in the subject box. I click it to read it and she tells me I should read her latest post. Now, I'm thinking ....something with the kids....foty is being an ass again....OH!!!! SHE FINALLY WENT ON HER DATE!!!.....So I immediately log onto thoughts...and lo and behold.....It was for me! Of course.....I cried.....AGAIN!!!

    I made one wish after a birthday text.....I know that won't be coming true as of one minute ago.....Of course.....I cry!
