| DOUBLE JEOPARDY...........A GOOD THING???

I was reading an aricle about OJ Simpson this morning and the new 'tell all' book (yes another one) that is out. it is written by a 'friend' of his....yes oj must still have a friend although after reading this article i wonder what kind of friend it is.
In this book the guy explains that after a night of drugs, pills, and booze with oj that he confessed his guilt to him about the murder of his ex and mr. goldman that terrible night. he said that oj explained to him that he did go to nicoles that night and she came to the door with the knife and words were exchanged and the end result was the death of two people. i was wondering how words can be exchanged to lead to such horrific deaths. these people weren't just killed they were butchered beyond belief. ms brown's head was practically severed. what kind of words could lead to that?
This man that wrote the book went on to say he told oj that he would (and admitted he did) launder money for him so that he wouldn't have to pay the browns and goldmans any money for the law suit they won against him later in the cival trial. he also helped him to fudge certain things pertaining to the case during the actual first trial.
Now i'm no lawyer, but isn't there a law against that? evidence tampering or something like that? and will someone tell me why double jeopardy is even a law? this man got away with the murder of two, count them TWO innocent people.....what constitutes justice with that? he has eluded to his guilt time after time and the law cannot touch this man? i think the law sucks.....plain and simple.
I understand that double jeopardy is there to protect us and it should but isn't there something that can be done to protect us also from murdering football players? it seems that the defendent can get a retrial if new evidence comes up or if it is deemed he didn't get a fair trial or if someone comes forward with a new light on the subject. so why can't the state come back with the same? if new evidence is there or if mr simpson admits he did this crime then why can't the state march his ass back into court and retry him too?
I think the law is mostly for the criminal anymore.....it is not for the victim. the victim gets the shitty end before and during and long after the trial is over. a rape victim gets raped and then again gets raped in court and then if the rapist is let off afterwards too....which i think is more often than not. ms brown and mr goldman were murdered and then during the trial were put on trial themselves (i thought) and then when oj was aquitted were basically murdered again. only during the civil suit with the families against oj did they get any justice and he never paid one cent of that money and now we find out that he had his friends 'launder' his money so he wouldn't have to.....jesus, what is that???? it would seem the law is for the powerful and not for the regular joe.
I am finding this out for myself too......of course its only a divorce....but nonetheless i feel i am getting so fucked by the legal system. why is it set up that i 'abandoned' my marriage? bc i didn't want to get beaten or raped or hurt anymore? i abandoned my home and marriage???? i think it was abandoned a long time ago. now satan is trying to get me back so i supose he can tell the judge that he is attempting to 'reconcile' and i am not.....GIVE ME A F.......ING BREAK! i would never physically hurt anyone.....not even the worst of the worst.....but i certainly understand the inclinations to do so......i imagine taking satan by his balls and putting them through the 'ass kicking blender' i read about in a post. i would like to put a new spin on neutering the male species. i would settle the entire divorce in a heartbeat if i could personally castrate satan myself with no anesthesia administered........yes, he could have everything if i could be allowed to do that little bitty thing.....sounds like a winner to me. with all the assholes in the world i could most likely open my own side business with that one.......she says with a wicked sneer on her lips......
So i think i am done venting about oj simpson and satan here......both are assholes.....both have gotten away with crimes.......both are dicks......both are miserable excuses for humans and both should be put away for life.....

I have been shocked by the crap I have read about OJ, he's a criminal who is free.
As for you, the legal system can be very unfair. Do you have an attorney? They should be able to fight the abandonment, I guess it depends on the state. Florida is a no fault state so here, it would not matter. Maybe you should just move down here and file :)
