Lars Windhorst is a internationally recognized entrepreneur whose work has spanned across Europe, Asia and Africa.

At an age far younger than most, Lars Windhorst started following the stock market and purchased his first stocks by age ten. At age fourteen, Lars Windhorst travelled to China and purchased his first products to import and sell in Europe, cheap electronic parts. By assembling the parts in his parent’s garage and selling the electronics in his father’s store, Lars Windhorst established his fist successful start-up.

No more than a year after his first purchase, Lars Windhorst was contacted by a Chinese businessman who wanted to partner with him. Soon after the two founded Windhorst Electronics and continued to expand across Europe. Within the first year, they sold over $50 million in sales and Lars Windhorst was known internationally as a entrepreneurial phenomena.

However, Lars Windhorst’s vision didn’t end there. Traveling to the Far East often, Lars Windhorst continued to further his international enterprises by establishing a string of Windhorst enterprises focused on investing in real estate and new communication tools. Eventually, Lars Windhorst relocated to Hong Kong and opened over 20 branches worldwide and employed over 200 people.

Unfortunately when the internet bubble burst in 2001, Lars Windhorst businesses were severely effected and Lars returned to the drawing board. Before long, Lars Windhorst masterminded a partnership with a South African family and together, they created Sapinda investment. Within the company’s first five years, over 2 billion Euro was traded and invested, making Sapinda a great success.

While the current global recession greatly changed the nature of Sapinda Investment, Lars Windhorst has continued to lead the company and restructured it under Sapinda Deutschland GmbH, where he currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer.
