if you are talking offenders/violence etc towards another?
having dealt with all this, to be honest? i dont know.
name and shame, public stocks? - not the idiotic so-called jail sentences they receive here.
in my mind, they get off way too lightly and the 'victim'? we get nothing, see no real justice, if thats the right word.
seems the bad guy/female always 'wins' somehow, regardless of the offence and life altering consquences of what they have left with us to deal with.

One law I would bring in is the "Name and shame" law. Everyone would know who and where they are and they would be reviled whenever they showed their face in public, thereby reinforcing the message that if they commit certain crimes like this, rather than be
're-habilitated' they will become outcast from society!.
