| I have a special needs child

I am Lana and I am thirty three years old. I have an 18 month old child and a three year old son. My three year old son is mildly autistic. I first realized something was wrong when he was twenty one months. Everyone said why don't you put him in daycare so you can get out and work and get a break. I tried two daycares and they could not deal with his crying from the seperation from me. I knew that would happen from day one my son cried to the sound of a blender. He would scream when I would go to Sunday dinners because he was scared of people. He has come a long way sense then. He goes to a school for children with learning disabilitys. All I hope for now is to start my own bussiness. I have a plan and it is vendig. I have to do something for an outlet. My days are tough because my son has a behavioral problem that ties me down to my home life. If I get my Bussiness squared away than I can pay someone to clean my house once a week and pay someone very entergetic to watch my kids while I go out ONCE A WEEK. I am not fealing sorry for my self. I just need a break sometimes. I feel bad for my son because of all that he will have to endure in life. I don't know why God chose for me to have a son who is autistic. What did I do wrong? Why does children have to suffer? THOSE QUESTIONS RUN THROUGH MY HEAD DAILY, BUT THERE IS HOPE ,,,,,,I HAVE PRAYED FOR A MIRICLE AND DAY BAY DAY MY SON HAS INPROVED. >>>>>>>>I HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT LIFE WILL GET BETTER, SO MANY HAVE IT WORSE. PRAY FOR ME AND MY SON

it sounds like you put a lot of yourself into you're children and their welfare. and that you also have great goals of your own which you'd love to fulfil. It's natural to want to have a break from the demands of being a mum. it can take a lot out of you (and i only have one). i think you're little boy with autism sounds very sensitive and probably will have a very special and unique gift to give to the world. maybe it's not what you did wrong that brought him to you, but what you did right? he could be learning wonderful things through his interaction with you that he wouldn't learn through any other parent on earth. :))

I am so worried about you situation.But I dont think your son will be always like this. My brother was the same to your son when he was a child.But now he is very healthy and he is the most excellent man in our family --he becomes a scientist. So dont be so nervous , everything will be better!

things happened for reasons
and i think you became a better person through your son
Remember God is in control and as you have prayed for a miracle God will help you
i believe that things happned inlife
so it would make us a better person
