Chapter 3!

The grocery store wasn’t hard to find. I was actually able to find everything I needed without even asking a single person in the store. I went to the checkout counter, and a girl named Amy checked me out, I mean literally, looking me up and down. Then she asked me “You’re new here right?” I blushed and then she asked “What’s your name?” this time I actually responded, “My name is Elizabeth Newton, but you can call me Liz”. She smiled then and said “Well my names Amy and it’s nice to meet you,” then she asked “So do you start school around here soon?” and I responded “Yes, it’s my first day tomorrow”. She smiled and with much cheerfulness, she wished me luck for tomorrow and hoped that we had some classes together. Before I left the store, I turned around and asked her, “Hey is there any place around here that I can buy a stereo?” she nodded and said “The store right next door you can’t miss it”. I nodded and smiled, waved and walked out and put my bags in the car.
Boy oh boy, was she right. This store was the type of store that would make my dad cringe back home, meaning I loved it. It sold all the things I loved back home. They sold my Goth pants for a really cheap price. Along with any cd’s I could ever want and an awesome collection of stereo’s to choice from. So I weaved my way through all the people in the store, until I got over to the stereo section of the store. As I looked around I found two I really liked and could afford, so I was undecided on which one to get. Suddenly I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. I felt as if I was being watched, it felt like there were a pair of eyes digging in my back. But as I turned around slowly, to look no one was there. So I bought a new stereo and a new black v-neck top and got out of there. So when I got home I put all the groceries away and headed up to my room with my new stuff. When I got into my room, I setup my stereo and started trying on different outfits that I was possibly thinking about wearing the next day. Again the hair on the back of my neck stood on end, and I went out and looked out the window. But of course I didn’t see anything, just snow. So I went back to looking at my clothes, and I settled on a pair of blue jeans, with my furry boots and the black v-neck shirt I bought with a red tank top underneath it. I thought the outfit looked really cute, and would make a statement on my first day. I was starting to get nervous about my first day at school, so I decided to try and get some sleep, so I set my alarm clock for 5 o’clock and tried to get to sleep.
