 Important life lesson: Share.
I used to blog on a daily basis when I was younger. And my blogs were pretty articulate and interesting. Other people actually CARED to read my thoughts. Nowadays, my thoughts center around a 12 lbs, 5 oz. human being who is absolutely the light of my life. The apple of my eye. The jewel of my heart. The reason why I am alive.

As cheesy as it is to say, the moment she was born, was the moment that I realized why I was put on this earth. To care for this tiny little person and to help her grow into an amazing adult (as I'm sure she will be). I have never loved anyone or anything so much in my life. Everything else in my life pales in comparison to her. She's so ... perfect.

Anyhow. I suppose all parents feel the same about their children. Atleast, I hope that they do.

I packed up 2 boxes of baby things for a couple of soon-to-be moms who are in need. I remember when I was 7 months pregnant and we were going through some financial hardships, worrying and stressing that I wasn't prepared enough for this baby. And I wasn't. But who really is? You learn as you go. I couldn't ever imagine literally having NOTHING and being a month away from giving birth to someone who is completely dependant on YOU. I am really lucky in that I have a wonderful support system and a husband who is a great Dad. It'd be really scary in the world to be a single mom with very people in your life to depend on.

So I'll help the best that I can. I just hope the little that I can provide will help ease some of the stress and worry those moms must be feeling right now.
