 Office Movement
Meep. Office movement! So now I'm upstairs with all the other secretaries which is a new development. They actually had to dismantle my desk to get it through the door!

Good things about this:
  • I'm in a room with Mary, Maureen and Kim who are all lovely even if they do insist on listening to Invicta FM all bloody day.
  • I now have room to roll my chair back and stretch my legs.
  • I no longer have to cart files up and down so many stairs just for storage.
  • Right next to the fax machine, the shredder and the photocopier!
  • Nearer to the junior doctors' office.
  • Busier room next to the Intake Team which means more chatting, making friends and general amusement. Plus Sue Bailey, who is pretty much a conversation even when by herself!
Bad things about this:
  • BLOODY INVICTA FM ALL BLOODY DAY. Sorry but I'm a Classic FM girl.
  • More people in a room so more noise which makes concentration and audio typing a lot harder.
  • I don't have a phone line. I really wish I was kidding. Yes, the secretary to the consultant psychiatrist has NO PHONE.
  • People are constantly bothering me for non work related reasons, which is friendly but reduces my productivity considerably.
  • People can see my screen easily which means I can't nip online in my breaks and write blogs or RPG plot very easily.
  • Crappy small kettle which takes ages to boil.
