 To the Mystery Flagger
Someone is flagging my entries as "inappropriate" when there was absolute no swearing in either one.  Just curious as to why someone would do that and who is doing it?  Do you not like what I think?  If that's the case, don't read my blog.  Simple as that.

Or could it be that I am on the popular list again?  And I did not put myself there, are you having a hard time coping with that?  Please indulge me, step up and tell me why you feel it necessary to hang a flag on every move I make.

I think the Thoughts.com staff probably has enough to do without having to figure out a way to unflag inappropriate flags, don't you?

you know...whenever something is flagged it only makes me want to read it all the more. something about it being 'forbidden.' so it only backfires on this mystery flagger b/c surely, i am not the only one who wants to see it.

I think if an item is flagged it should put next to it who flagged it... I think that would stop alot of the flagging

I agree

I told thoughts staff about that before, but they seem to not care

When I was in Vegas I talked to them about this problem, I suggested that if someone decided to flag a post nothing would happen until the third such flag on the post and then it would be flagged, then action could be taken by thoughts...that way some clown can't just come in flag and run..and make the flag thing work the way it was intended to. Maybe we'll see it in the near future.

That's a really good idea. What did the staff think?

I've read some pretty inappropriate entries by some people (not yours tho, LadyG, yours are great!) but I've never flagged anyone's entry. Just because I find something offensive or whatever doesn't mean the next person who reads it will. I just choose not to read that person's blog anymore.

Sounds like the flaggers have to much time on their hands and are doing their best to annoy people. I haven't seen anything in your post that should have gotten you flagged.

Yea... sounds to me like someone is just being a pain in the a**. I love your posts Lady! And if people don't.. then they don't have to read them. How annoying.

Seriously I thought we were all grown ups here...But, I love the idea, on showin' who flagged it and why?...That should be put into consideration... I love you LG...Even when you're flagged, it brings me mystery of what I'm about to read... =)

We already know who flagged the post as long as they are logged in. However, people can flag posts if they are not logged so this causes an issue. Maybe we should change this. Regarding Wayne's idea in Vegas, it is a great idea and we will be implementing a similar solution very soon.

Hmmm. Well, I guess it first depends on the color of flag being waved. Right?

Second, if you see one Britney, you may have seen it all. Somewhere though, despite all her screw-ups, my heart pours out to that girl. I guess the ole addage to walk a mile in someones footsteps would apply...before we carelessly judge someone for faults that lie within any human. Take care! :)
