As many of you know, I start my new job tomorrow. And, yes, I am nervous. Very very nervous. Because this a really great position in a really great firm with really great pay. And I am such a perfectionist that I am not worried about doing a good job, I am worried about losing my "Large Firm" virginity. Until now, the companies I've worked with ranged from 2-10 or so attorneys. Not the case anymore-tomorrow I jump head first into working for a Sr. Partner in a firm of 50+ attorneys alone. Eek. That's just a small bit intimidating for this small town girl.
Beside that, another birthday is also approaching. On Sept. 11, 1981 at approximately 1:00 in the morning I arrived screaming and kicking-and my momma's world has never been the same. 27 years to claim....sometimes it feels like that should be a much larger number.
