Some birthday I had-nothing special-nothing horrible-just plain everyday nothing. Aaron's out of the state again so I spent the evening with the TV and Domino's Pizza. He calls, my husband, and asks "how was your birthday" like something magical should have happened, well I do agree that SOMETHING should have happened-but when there is no one there to work the magic nothing can happen.
Now I'm just sad and let down and lonely. I don't expect a party or a parade, but a card or some flowers or something would have been nice. More than nice really. They would have been all the "magic" I'd been craving.

Wow. No one should ever have a bad birthday! I am so serious. It shouldn't matter if someone is turning 2, 30, or 86... a birthday is meant to be celebrated! You should take tomorrow off and only do things that you like doing, get a pedicure, eat ice cream, go shopping... do whatever makes you happy, because it's your birthday and you deserve it :)

i sorry to hear that. my past 5 birthdays havent been special in anyway. no one seem to care or notice anymore. hell i worked on my last one. again i apolgize i hope your next birthday be happier.

DAMMIT! I am the worst friend in the world! I was gonna send you a birthday greeting yesterday & then Daisy "had to have all his stuff done". Grrr. I blame Daisy! I am SO sorry, hun! I owe you a week of birthday wishes!

Why not just GO OUT and TREAT yourself.
If others don't do it for you, YOU should do it for yourself.
:)
Oh and if you decide to do it, don't wait for next year, just say it's your belated gift to yourself.
