| Old People and Crack Houses
I walked into the office this morning and realized what it smells like here...old people. Not just figuratively, literally. Gross. If I ever get to be one of the old people that smells like I hide moth balls all over my house I hope someone shoots me. And then burns my smelly house down. Blah. If that isn't my cue to get the hell out of here I don't know what is.
Got an email from M. this morning talking about moving away where no one knows him and starting over. Asking my opinion is a dangerous thing. My reply? "Quit your damn whinning and go!" I only say that because I have done it and it was great. Prepping here to do it again soon. Work knows, it's just a matter of time until I find another job.
Was driving by a house this morning that I always wanted to live in when I was a kid. It's nothing special, just big and bright and I thought classy (when I thought I knew what classy was). Well, guess what? It's a crack house. Really. It's a sad, sad thing when you realize you were the kid who wanted to grow up and live in a crack house. Yipeee! Way to set my sights high, huh?
