You may want to look into having a spinal tap...I had a headache that went on for 3 months before I went to the dr, I found out it was menengitis. Seriously...go back to the doc...
I hope you get to feeling better. |

| Yikes!!!! I don't want a damn spinal tap...my sister had those when she had leukemia, I'd rather shoot myself in the foot. |

Ladiegodivia sorry to hear this.
I have a friend that has a pseudo tumor on her left optic nerve. She just went through this, spinal tap to relieve the pressure, morphine, demerol, percocet and other pain meds. Yesterday made two straight weeks of headache pain. I wish you well kiddo :) |

| Ladiegodiva - I suffer from chronic headaches - pretty much daily. I went on so many different medications and nothing really helped - some made me gain weight, others gave me a rash if I didn't drink enough water, but nothing made the headaches go away. My doctor suggested Botox but it was too expensive for me so now I am on a daily routine of Excedrin. At least it works. I have a headache now and am just waiting for it to kick in. Sorry you have to go through this as well! Good luck with the Botox. Stay away from the Spinal Tap - ouch!! |

| They give Botox for headaches?! I've never heard of that before! Crazy! Well, I hope you start feeling better. If not, just think that I will be coming down to see you in a couple of weeks! We're gonna go see the big cock! Tee hee! ;) Maybe the big cock will have secret headache healing powers if you rub his foot...we'll try. |

| Oh..sweets. I hope the headache goes away. About those Heroin shots.. I hate to say this...but heroin relieves so much pain. But downside...your addict of one hit. And that's freebasin...so hmmm straight through the veins I am sure is worse. Don't ask me how I know...I just do. Hope you begin to feel better |

Well I went to see another neurologist Monday. This consisted of locked up traffic on a hot day, sitting in the place for hours, following a light with my eyes, reflex tests, only to end with being told to not take anything over the counter or the Vicoden the last doctor gave me for 6-8 weeks. Let headaches kick my ass until all pain meds are out of my system and let a new migraine medication start working. Yeah right! I can hardly take the headaches with the pain killer. I can't go with taking nothing.
Then to top it off they want another MRI. How many pics of one brain do they need to figure it out?
Tell me about this botox. I have never heard of that as an option. Does that work for anyone? |
