There is a frost advisory in effect. In my house. The thermostat is broken! Son of a bitch-I can't feel my fingers or my toes. Or my ears or nose. Ugh. Aaron just left to pick up a new one so we can, hopefully, crank the heat!
Speaking of frost...I think Hell froze over today. DH called me in his office, after he gave me instructions on some things he wanted done he launched into this speech about how "impressed he his with my work ethic" and "how quickly I'm catching on and getting accustomed with the work". Wow. Did you just compliment me? Twice? And there wasn't even one SEMI-COLON in it. Hmm. When he's not having a dramatic melt-down, he actually seems like a decent guy.
Tommorrow is jeans day...yea! I love jeans day. And I get to wear a hoodie sweatshirt too-Brewers day at the office. As much as I hate sports, I love the freak that came up with this idea, hell yeah I'll sport the logo of something I despise if it means I get to be comfy. See Miss Mandie? Yet another reason you should move here and work with me...casual Fridays...and you DO NOT have to pay for them. If that was not the most ridiculous thing I'd ever heard-at Mandie's office (my old office) you only get to wear jeans 1x a year-and you have to pay for it! Charity my ass...somebody's liquor problem more like.
Oh, I went to the DMV today too. Ever see that Family Guy episode "...and he decided to get back at the white man by inventing........the department of motor vehicles........." Yes, it was quite exciting. I am now officially LGM instead of LGL. It's a good thing. Ok-that was a little Martha Moment-"it's a good thing"....
